Update on Vietnam Veteran Mubarak Raschid - He is in Critical Condition Suffering from the Effects of Agent Orange - He Can Use Any Donation You Can Afford - He is in the Arlington West Film
Dear Friends,
Peter Dudar & Sally Marr have let me know that their friend, Vietnam Veteran Mubarak Raschid, is in critical condition, suffering from the effects of Agent Orange. He has very little money at this time in his life. If you would like to make a donation to him, you can write a check made out to Mubarak Raschid and send it to:

For those of you who have seen Peter & Sally’s powerful film ARLINGTON WEST: www.arlingtonwestfilm.com - Raschid is the African-American Vietnam Veteran who speaks so clearly and convincingly at the end of the film. He advises the youth to not enlist in the military. He says do it for your mother. His squadron in Vietnam was blown up before his eyes. He is such a moving speaker and a very important part of the film. His words have been heard by tens of thousands of young people in school assemblies all over the country..and those words have without question steered countless youth away from the military as a career….thus saving lives. Tears have come to my eyes every time I have seen Raschid in the Arlington West Film.
Now Raschid needs our help.
Raschid is no longer able to drive and he wants to sell his truck, a Nissan 1988, in very good condition. It gets good mileage, at least 24 mpg, has a radio, is a 4x4, extra wide wheels, under 100,000 miles and has been well kept. The asking price is $1800. His wife, Doris, can show the car. If there is anyone out there who can use this good vehicle, please give Doris a call at: 213 745 8854. Or call Peter & Sally at: 323 650 8166 - mail@arlingtonwestfilm.com
Thanks for considering this.
Frank
