Patricia Isasa

Was abducted by the military and police in Argentina when she was only 16 years old. She was tortured and held for over 2 years. Patricia survived and has dedicated many years to bringing her torturers to justice, hoping to bring accountability and therefore healing to her country. Thanks to her exhaustive research, eight of her torturers are now in jail, awaiting trial, including a graduate of the School of the Americas. After many postponements,    she expects the trial to begin this summer.
